5:00 AM Departure: Begin an unforgettable private Chobe tour with an early start, crossing the border into Botswana for a full-day adventure in Chobe National Park.

Located in northern Botswana near the expansive Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park is famed for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, especially along the Chobe Riverfront during the dry season. The park’s diverse habitats support a wide range of wildlife, including lions, antelope, and hippos in the woodlands and lagoons surrounding Linyanti Marsh. In the floodplains of Savuti Marsh, guests can also see numerous bird species and witness the seasonal migration of zebras. After checkout, guests will transfer to the airport for their flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, a guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a clearly marked name board displaying the group’s name for easy identification. Lunch can be enjoyed either en route or at the airport at the guest’s own expense.

Following lunch, the group will depart for a Cultural Village Tour. This tour takes place in an authentic African village nestled among the pristine Bushveld and rocky hills. The village includes various homesteads, each representing different traditional communities: the Xhosa with their beautiful thatched homes and red blankets, the Zulu with their fighting sticks and cozy beehive huts, the Pedi with their lively drum-filled courtyards, and the Basotho, known for their conical straw hats and resilient mountain ponies.

Upon arrival, guests will receive a traditional welcome and embark on a guided walk through two of the four homesteads. The experience includes traditional song and dance and concludes with a Boma dinner under the stars (drinks are at the guest’s own expense).
